Finney Elementary and CVESD are seeking your input regarding our Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals. We are using the online tool Thoughtexchange (click here for Español) to gather your input, NOW through March 20. You can read about the current LCAP here. When you complete Thoughtexchange, email beverly.prange@cvesd.org a screenshot of your Thoughtexchange screen, with your children’s names, and each of your students will receive a Bulldog Super Pass! Please put Thoughtexchange in the subject line. You can also show the screen to the secretary to receive your children’s prize.

We hope you’ll join us this Friday, March 6 at 8:00 for our Coffee with the Principal/ELAC meeting in Rm. 201. We will be discussing Helping Your Child with Test Taking. Students whose parents attend this meeting will receive a Bulldog Super Pass (redeemable for No Homework, Stuffed Animal Day, or Pajama Day).

Congratulations to Mrs. Nguyen’s class, Rm. 402, for having 99% attendance last week, the best attendance at Finney for the 2nd week in a row. Way to go! Finney’s overall attendance last week was 94.2%; our goal is 98%. When kids miss school, they miss out!
