Tuesday, March 10 is the LAST DAY OF AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING!

Kids heart challenge is March 9-20. We’ll be jumping rope for heart health on Friday, March 20 at recess.
Please ensure children come to school every day, unless they are truly sick. All CVESD schools are following state and district directives for sanitizing surfaces and encouraging frequent  hand washing. Please remind children about proper hand washing, avoiding touching their faces, and sneezing/coughing into their elbows.

Please note that only students who pre-pay will be photographed this time.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast served by Finney teachers! 5th Grade is hosting a Flapjack Breakfast Saturday, March 14 at Applebee’s on Palomar St. to raise funds for the Riley’s Farm field trip. Tickets are on sale for $10 before and after school, or fill out the flyer and turn in to your child’s teacher. Click here to see the flyer.

Finney Elementary and CVESD are seeking your input regarding our Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals. We are using the online tool Thoughtexchange (click here for Español) to gather your input, NOW through March 20. You can read about the current LCAP here. When you complete Thoughtexchange, email beverly.prange@cvesd.org a screenshot of your Thoughtexchange screen, with your children’s names, and each of your students will receive a Bulldog Super Pass! Please put Thoughtexchange in the subject line. Or you can show the screen to the secretary to receive your children’s prize.
