Finney Elementary and CVESD are seeking your input regarding our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals. We are using the online tool Thoughtexchange (click here for Español) to gather your input, NOW through March 20. You can read about the current LCAP here. When you complete Thoughtexchange, email beverly.prange@cvesd.org a screenshot of your Thoughtexchange screen, with your children’s names, and each of your students will receive a Bulldog Super Pass! Please put Thoughtexchange in the subject line. You can also show the screen to the secretary to receive your prize.

Congratulations to Mrs. Nguyen’s class, Rm. 402, for having 99% attendance last week: Way to go! Finney’s overall attendance last week was 94.2%; our goal is 98%. When kids miss school, they miss out!

The Pennies for Patients drive in going on now through February 28th to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Finney’s online donation page is here.

Join us on Saturday, February 29, for our School Garden Work Day, 8:00-12:00. We welcome ALL volunteers, including 4th-6th Grade Finney Students (who can earn a Super Pass by volunteering), parents, and middle and high schoolers looking for community service hours.
