Extended Day & Jumpstart Tutoring resumes on Thursday, January 11th.

image1Please join me in welcoming Ana Garcia, our new Attendance Secretary/Health Specialist! Ms. Garcia has worked for CVESD for almost four years, at Camarena and Lauderbach. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, going on long walks with her dog, and painting.

Congratulations to Mrs. Showman’s 3rd Grade Class and Ms. Pot’s 6th Grade Class! They won the Achieve3000 Read to Succeed Contest in Quarter 2.

newsFinney PTA’s Membership Drive begins on January 9th. Any family member or community member can join. The first PTA General Meeting of 2018 will be January 17 at 5:30 pm.

To ensure we can contact you in case of emergency, please ensure your contact information is up to date in our front office AND with your child’s teacher. Only those people listed on the green emergency card in the front office will be permitted to pick up your student (with government-issued photo ID).

For safety, there is NO student drop off or pick up in the school parking lot. Only staff and CDA parents (with placard) may enter the parking lot at arrival and dismissal times.
