PTA Elections are Tuesday, April 18 at 2:15 in Room 602. We will be electing these PTA Board Members: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Historian, and Secretary.
Positive Parenting Classes are back at Finney! Join us for this 3-session class, April 26, May 3 and May 10, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Finney! Child care and dinner will be provided. Do you know a child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2023? Register for Kindergarten NOW ONLINE at CVESD.ORG/EnrollNow. We need families to enroll early to ensure that we can fully staff our school next year. We have space in other grade levels also. Transfers welcome!
Finney attendance last week was 92.4% – our goal is 98%. Mr. Barraza’s class had the highest attendance last week with 98.8%. Students should only miss school when they are sick.
End-of-year state (CAASPP) and district (Local Measures) testing calendar is here. Children do their best when they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive to school on time (7:45).
