Our attendance rate last week was 91%–our goal is 98%. Congratulations to Mr. Barraza’s class, Room 406, with the best attendance last week: 95%!

Students should only miss school if they are sick. Those with symptoms can return with a negative Covid test, no fever for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication, and symptoms improving. We have plenty of rapid tests at school–just ask in the office. If you have a special circumstance and need an independent study, please let us know.

Please schedule appointments after school or on non-school days. There are only 180 days of school each year. The CVESD calendar is here. If you would like a hard copy, we have them in the school office.

You will receive your child’s report card in a large white Finney envelope on Friday, December 16. Please keep the report card, sign the envelope, and return the envelope to school in January. You can also access report cards online in the Home Access Center. Here is a guide to the new CVESD report card in English and Spanish.
