Every minute of every day counts! We are working hard to improve student attendance at Finney this year. Congratulations to Mrs. Nguyen’s class Room 402 for the highest attendance last week with 98.7%!
Students on transfers can be denied a transfer due to poor attendance, which includes tardies.
New Guidelines for Returning to School after Symptoms:
A symptomatic person must have 1 negative antigen (e.g. home test) or 1 negative PCR test and may return to school when the following have been met:
- 24 hours fever-free without the use of fever-reducing medications
- Symptoms improving
- No new symptom onset
We need volunteer coaches so that Finney students can participate in CVESD co-ed volleyball, kickball or flag football league for grades 4-6. The leagues for these sports run October – December. If you are interested in being a volunteer coach, please contact Dr. Prange beverly.prange@cvesd.org by September 9.
