State and district end of year tests start now. Please be sure students have a good night’s sleep, eat breakfast, and arrive to school on time. Most testing is in the morning. Remind students to relax and do their best. Here is the Finney testing calendar:

Weekly Tuesday testing at Finney helps us slow the spread of Covid-19. You can sign your child up for Tuesday testing at school.covidclinic.org. For questions about testing, contact k12@covidclinic.org. Those who have had Covid-19 within the past 90 days should not test with Covid Clinic.

Kindergarten registration is going on NOW at cvesd.org! Do you know a child who will turn 5 by September 1, 2022? Please spread the word to friends, family, and neighbors. Transfers are welcome!

Children who will turn 5 between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023 are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten. The closest school with TK for 2022-23 is Los Altos. Students need to enroll for TK at their home school.

Please ensure students wear clothing appropriate for school. Shirts must cover midriff. Heelys, Crocs, flip-flops, and slippers are not safe for school. Shoes must be appropriate for physical education. Long fingernails are not safe for school. Please leave all valuables and special items (e.g. jewelry) at home.
