PTA Spring Catalog fundraiser is March 7-17. Look for a package coming home. Please help support our school. PTA is currently seeking candidates for the PTA Board. Elections are this month. All positions are open. Book Fair is coming up March 14-18.

Your child’s VAPA (Visual & Performing Arts) grade on their progress report will be NA (not assessed). You can read about the VAPA standards covered in Art & Music class this quarter here.

Masking rules in CVESD have not changed and will be reviewed at the March 9th School Board Mtg. Currently, masks are still required indoors.

Weekly testing at Finney helps us slow the spread of Covid-19. It also removes the burden from you to take your children to get tested after every exposure and will fill the weekly testing requirement for sports team participation. You can sign your child up for Tuesday testing at school.covidclinic.org. For questions about testing, contact k12@covidclinic.org. Those who have had Covid-19 within the past 90 days should not test with Covid Clinic.

When a student in your child’s classroom or group tests positive, all the parents of exposed students receive an exposure letter. Exposed students do NOT need to stay home unless they have symptoms or test positive. Exposed students need to test on day 3, 4, or 5. Any test is acceptable and results must be reported to the district via this form: https://forms.office.com/r/uzEF13QrRE. Students who participate in weekly testing at Finney do not need to go get another test, even if the weekly test is not on day 3, 4, or 5.
