Thank you to all those who have supported the Kids’ Heart Challenge so far! We’ve already raised almost $500 for the American Heart Association, and we still have a week to go. Our culminating event is a school-wide jump-rope-a-thon on Thursday, Feb. 17th. Weekly Tuesday Covid-19 PCR testing at Finney started last week. Weekly testing helps us slow the spread of Covid-19. It also removes the burden from you to take your children to get tested after every exposure and will fill the weekly testing requirement for sports team participation. *Special note for 6th graders: it is important for 6th graders NOT to test with Covid Clinic prior to camp. We will test 6th graders with a rapid test at school on the morning of camp departure.*

You can sign your child up for Tuesday testing at school.covidclinic.org. To register your account, click into the parent/guardian tab. Fill in your information and then your children’s information. You will need each child’s student ID#. Once done, you will see Part Two which is ordering a test for your children. This second step is needed to have a test ready by Tuesday. After the first order, the order will repeat itself every week with no further action needed by you. You will receive an email confirming Your Order has been Placed. For questions about testing, contact k12@covidclinic.org. Those who have had Covid-19 within the past 90 days should not test with Covid Clinic.

Please send Covid-19 test results to finneyschool@cvesd.org. Please direct Covid-19 questions to covtest4@cvesd.org. When your student is absent for any length of time, they should complete and independent study.

Children 5 and up can be vaccinated against Covid-19. Please send completed (two doses of Pfizer) COVID-19 vaccination card copies to finneyschool@cvesd.org to update school vaccination records.
