Happy New Year! Quarter 3 begins Tuesday, January 11, and is a Minimum Day with 1:00 Dismissal.

The state is providing an at-home Covid-19 test kit to each student grades Kinder and up. Families can stop by Finney on Monday, Jan. 10, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. to pick up test kits (drive-thru at front of school by office).

Children 5 and up can be vaccinated against Covid-19. Please send completed (two doses of Pfizer) COVID-19 vaccination card copies to finneyschool@cvesd.org to update school vaccination records. Children are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after second Pfizer dose. Children who are fully vaccinated do not need to quarantine after exposure to a positive case IF we have vaccination records on file.

Please use this email for reporting absences and Covid-19 test results: finneyschool@cvesd.org. Students can get attendance credit by completing an independent study. Please ask your teacher or office staff for a list of work to complete.

Per CVESD Board Policy, we work to limit interruptions to instructional time and ensure student safety by maintaining a closed campus:

Please make sure your child has everything they need before coming to school: Water bottles, lunches, homework, backpacks, info regarding pickup, etc. The school office is not permitted to make deliveries or interrupt classroom instruction.
