No toys, trading cards, fidgets, jewelry, or other special items are allowed at school unless specifically requested by the teacher. Please leave it at home! Everything needed for school is provided by the school.

Help keep our children safe! Drop off only on the white curb. Use caution when crossing the street. Right turn only onto Byrd Street when exiting the parking lot. Do not park in spaces marked “Reserved”, as these are reserved for specific employees.

Please use this email for reporting absences and Covid-19 test results: finneyschool@cvesd.org. Students can get attendance credit by completing an independent study. Please ask your teacher or office staff for a list of work to complete.

The PTA Fall Fundraiser runs through 11/15. Money from in-person sales must be turned in to PTA on Monday, 11/15. All proceeds will be going towards the classrooms. If you have any questions, please contact Finney PTA finneypta@gmail.com.

Covid-19 testing information: click here for San Diego County testing sites. CVESD has testing M-Th 8:00-4:00 and Fridays 10:00-4:00 at the district office, 84 East J Street, Chula Vista, 91910 AND at Hedenkamp Elementary, 930 East Palomar Street, Chula Vista, M-Th 9:00-4:30 and Fridays 10:00-4:30.
