Residency verification will take place online this year.  All students returning to any school in the Chula Vista Elementary School District for the 2021/22 school year are required to show proof of residency at their school of attendance before the start of school in order for their child’s name to be placed on a class list.  

Last week, we sent an email containing a unique “Snap Code” for each of your children enrolled at Finney and a link to the website where you will be able to update information for your child and upload your residency for the 2021-22 school year. Please make sure to check your emails so that you may complete this promptly. If you have not received your email, please contact the school office at 619-690-1334 or grace.limon@cvesd.org.

Are you looking for Summer Opportunities for children? Two great resources are the YMCA and Balboa Park. Balboa Park has some virtual camps too. Scholarships are available–be sure to ask about financial assistance!

ALL children need to READ during vacation! The public library is a great source for books.

All borrowed school devices, including laptops, iPads, and hot spots, MUST be returned to Finney by June 16.

FREE rapid antigen Covid-19 testing for students and staff at Finney on Monday, June 7, 8:00-3:30 in the Finney parking lot. No testing 12:00-12:30. Walk up–no appointments needed. This a rapid, shallow self-swab test. This test is not for those experiencing symptoms, as it cannot be used for proof of negative test to return to school/work. Those with symptoms need to get a PCR Test, according to the County Decision Tree. Here are the FREE county testing locations.
