Quarter 4 begins on Monday, April 5. All Finney and CVESD students will remain in Distance Learning mode the week of April 5th. All Distance Learning classes will be 3 hours (except VAPA, which will follow the usual schedule).

All CVESD schools will reopen in the Hybrid Model on Monday, April 12. Class rosters for Hybrid and Distance Learning when we reopen are based on the information provided by families in the Reopening Survey. The YMCA program is not accepting new students during Quarter 4. During Quarter 4, transportation is provided only for students with transportation on their IEP.

MATERIALS PICK UP is on April 8th, from 12:00-6:00 pm in the Finney Parking Lot. This is important for students who are remaining in Distance Learning and also Hybrid students, since we will distribute your CAR and/or WALKING PLACARD at this time.

The PTA Association Meeting and Elections for 2021-22 PTA Board is Thursday, April 8 at 3:00 PM via Zoom. The following positions are open for PTA members who are available to dedicate their time: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Auditor and Historian. FREE COVID-19 testing at Finney on Friday, April 9 for students, families and staff. The antibody test consists of a light fingerprick; results as quickly as 15 minutes for those who stay around for their results. The viral test is the shallow nose swab test; results available within three-to-four business days. Learn more here: Viral Test for COVID-19. Participants have the option of only doing one of the tests or both, and they are offered at no cost. To schedule an appointment, please click here. Testing will be available 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no testing taking place between 12 noon and 1 p.m. 

Food Distribution continues every Thursday from 12:00-2:00 in the Finney parking lot.

Do you know a child who will be 5 years old by September 1st? Kindergarten registration for 2021-2022 is now open at cvesd.org. Registration is online.
