Parent-Teacher conferences are Thursday, March 18-Thursday, March 25. On these dates, students will have synchronous instruction with their teacher from 8:00-10:00 and will have asynchronous work the remainder of their regular distance learning school day. VAPA schedules will not change during conferences.

We are currently preparing to reopen in the Hybrid Model. Class rosters for Hybrid and Distance Learning when we reopen are based on the information provided by families in the Reopening Survey. We still do not have a specific date for return to in-person school. Here is a short video about procedures and safety measures when we reopen.

Class assignments for the Hybrid Model will be shared during your parent-teacher conference. Any requests for changes must be made via this form prior to March 26. Changes are not guaranteed as they are based on space availability. For families who selected Hybrid AM, students will be on campus M-Th 8:00-10:45; Hybrid PM is M-Th 11:30-2:15. All students will be in Distance Learning on Fridays. The Distance Learning daily schedule will remain the same when we reopen.

Masks and social distancing will be required for all staff and students when we return in person. If your child is not used to wearing a mask, please start practicing now.

Do you know a child who will be 5 years old by September 1st? Kindergarten registration for 2021-2022 begins March 15th at 9:00 am at cvesd.org. Registration is online. Finney welcomes transfers, but space is limited! Register early! Tell your friends, family, and neighbors.

Although our 6th graders cannot attend 6th Grade Camp in person, they will be participating in Virtual 6th Grade Camp. You can support them by donating to the Virtual 6th Grade Camp Fundraiser here. Every little bit helps!
