Finney Family Science Night is Thursday, February 20, 5:00-7:00. Join us for fun, hands-on  science activities for the whole family and FREE PIZZA!

Thoughtexchange starts on February 18! Finney Elementary and CVESD are seeking your input regarding our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals. We will be using the online tool Thoughtexchange to gather your input, February 18-March 20. You can read about the current LCAP here. When you complete Thoughtexchange, email beverly.prange@cvesd.org a screenshot of the completion screen, with your children’s names, and each of your students will receive a special prize! Please put Thoughtexchange in the subject line. We will also have devices available at Science Night on Feb. 20th for you to complete the process here at school.

Do you know a child who will be 5 years old by September 1st? Kindergarten registration for 2020-2021 begins February 19th. Registration packets are AVAILABLE NOW. Finney welcomes transfers, but space is limited! Register early! Tell your friends, family, and neighbors.

Congratulations to Mr. Schafer’s class, Rm. 702, for having 100% attendance last week: Way to go! Finney’s overall attendance last week was 94.7%; our goal is 98%. When kids miss school, they miss out!
