Please note that per CVESD Board Policy 6153 , the purpose of field trips is to provide learning experiences in an environment outside the school. Field trips are an important part of the learning process. Parents may be invited for the purpose of assisting with supervision. Please note that the Finney Parent Handbook clearly states that siblings are not allowed to go on field trips.

Do you know a child who will be 5 years old by September 1st? Kindergarten registration for 2020-2021 begins February 19th. Registration packets are AVAILABLE NOW. Finney welcomes transfers, but space is limited! Register early! Tell your friends, family, and neighbors.

Congratulations to Mrs. Boulytchev’s class, Rm. 403, for having 98.4% attendance last week: Way to go! Finney’s overall attendance last week was 93.3%; our goal is 98%. When kids miss school, they miss out!

PTA is hosting a Friendship Dance on Thursday, February 13, 5:00-7:00 pm. Students must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets on sale now: $1 in advance and $2 at the door. Volunteers are needed!
