Thank you to everyone who attended the Finney Fall Festival on Friday! Sending a special shout out to all the staff volunteers and parent volunteers who made it happen. We love our Finney community and your support means so much to our students!
Remember there are no costumes allowed at school on October 31st. Also, there is no candy allowed at any time.
Did you know that poor attendance in elementary school is a leading indicator that a student will drop out of high school? Remember, coming to school on every day on time is the first smart choice your child makes in their academic career. Please be a part of your child’s success by bringing them to school early. They can eat breakfast at school starting at 7:15. School begins at 7:45 am. Students are required to be lined up on the blacktop when the bell rings at 7:45, or they are marked tardy.
The class with the highest attendance last week was Mrs. Showman’s class, Rm. 502 with 98%. Our overall attendance was 95%. Our goal is 98%.
