Congratulations to Ms. Pot’s class, Rm. 405, for having 100% attendance last week! Finney’s overall attendance was 96.7%. Our goal is 98%. Remember, every minute of every day counts!

Finney PTA is forming a Fun Run committee. The Fun Run is a fundraiser to benefit the whole school. We are raising money for an outdoor hand washing station and chess club materials. Join us on 8/26 at 8:00 am in Rm. 201.

To help keep our school community updated on District budget activities and the impact on our school site budget, we are seeking a parent to serve on the District’s Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) as Finney’s representative. The first meeting of the BAC is October 23, 6:00-7:00 pm at CVESD, 84 East J Street, Chula Vista, 91910. Childcare will be provided.
