Dismissal is 2:15 Monday-Thursday and 1:00 every Friday. To ease congestion at dismissal, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade teachers will walk students to the front of the school. 4th, 5th, and 6th grade teachers will walk students to the exit next to the auditorium. Students not picked up on time will need to be signed out in the health office by an adult who is on the emergency card, with photo ID.

We do not allow visitors and volunteers during the first 2 weeks of school. Visitors and volunteers may begin coming on campus on August 5. Volunteers must attend volunteer orientation on Friday, Aug. 2, 8:30-9:00. All classroom visits are at the discretion of the teacher and must be pre-arranged.

Finney English Learner Advisory Committee needs a Parent Representative to represent Finney’s English Learner parents at the monthly District Advisory Council/District English Learner Advisory Committee (DAC/DELAC) meetings, held on Tuesdays, 12:00-2:00 at the CVESD district office.
