It’s time for the annual Hanover customer satisfaction survey! Please take a few moments to let us know how we are doing. The survey closes on June 5th.

State and district end-of-year testing is ongoing through May. Click here for the testing calendar. Please ensure children arrive on time to school every day, get plenty of sleep, eat breakfast, relax and do their best!

Residency verification is May 21-June 13. You must provide verification of residency in order for your child to be placed on a class list for 2019-20. Click here for details about residency verification.

Student safety is very important to us, and all students must be supervised at all times. As a reminder, the earliest students can arrive at school is 7:15 for breakfast, and 7:30 if they are not eating breakfast. If your child needs to arrive at school earlier, please enroll them in the morning child care program offered through the YMCA.

YMCA STRETCH is still accepting applications for 2019-2020 for before and after school care. You can pick up an application in the school office. The STRETCH acceptance list will be posted in the cafeteria on May 17.

It’s time for the annual Finney Learning Fair! Join us on Tuesday, May 21, 5:00-7:00 pm to see student projects in grades K-6th and enjoy free food!

A shout-out to Mrs. Boulytchev’s class, Rm. 403 and Ms. Longo’s class, Rm. 406, for having 100% attendance last week–way to go! Finney’s overall attendance was 96.8% last week. Our goal is 98%. Be sure to bring your child to school every day on time. Every minute of every day counts!
