Our attendance rate last week was 96.1%. This is too low! Our goal is 98%. We can do it! Be a part of your child’s academic success by bringing them to school every day on time.

The FREE YMCA STRETCH morning childcare program has space for students in all grade levels. Students can arrive starting at 6:15 a.m. Applications are available in the school office. For more information call 619-787-7411 or email stretch-finney@ymca.org.

Finney cares! During the month of November, we are collecting toys and non-perishable food for those in need.

The Annual Turkey Trot 5th Grade Fundraiser is Friday, Nov. 16th. Please return the permission slip you received from your child’s teacher. Each child who turns in sponsorships will be entered for a chance to win a Turkey Dinner basket.

Monday, Nov. 12 is Veteran’s Day and there is NO SCHOOL.
