Our attendance rate last week was 96.5%. This is too low. Our goal is 98%. We can do it!

Did you know that poor attendance in elementary school is a leading indicator that a student will drop out of high school? Remember, coming to school on every day on time is the first smart choice your child makes in their academic career. Please be a part of your child’s success by bringing them to school early. They can eat breakfast at school starting at 7:15.  School begins at 7:45 am. Students are required to be lined up on the blacktop when the bell rings at 7:45, or they are marked tardy.

The YMCA STRETCH morning childcare program has space for students in all grade levels. Students can arrive starting at 6:15 a.m. Applications are available in the school office. For more information call 619-787-7411 or email stretch-finney@ymca.org.
