The Scholastic Book Fair will be October 15 through October 20 in Room 201.

Did you know there are only 180 days of school in the school year? This means that your children are IN school fewer days than they are OUT of school. Regular school attendance is critical. Every school day is important for your child’s learning. Please consult the CVESD calendar, and schedule trips and appointments during breaks.

Finney is seeking a parent representative to the CVESD Budget Advisory Committee. This parent will be Finney’s voice on the district’s budget planning, and will report back to the School Site Council. Meetings are held monthly. The first meeting is Wednesday, Oct. 17 6:00 pm at the CVESD office, 84 East J Street, Chula Vista. Childcare is available. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Prange beverly.prange@cvesd.org
