Finney PTA’s Membership Drive is January 9-Feb. 9. The first class to reach full PTA membership will receive a Bubble & Popcorn Party (one upper, one primary). Any family member or community member can join. Pick up an envelope in the front office.

Remember, when picking up a child in the school office, you must provide a government-issued photo ID. We cannot release a child without a photo ID.

PTA is hosting a Friendship Dance on Friday, February 9th, 5:00-7:00 pm. If you are interested being on the Friendship Dance Committee, they will be meeting on Wednesday, January 24 at 9:00 am in Room 201.

Per our wellness policy, chips, cookies, and candy are not allowed at school. Also, for everyone’s safety, there is no sharing of food at school.

The Great Kindness Challenge is this week, January 22-26. It’s not too late to volunteer during recess to assist students in completing their kindness checklist. Sign up in the school office!

To help motivate our students during the Great Kindness Challenge we will be having a spirit week:

Monday 1/22: “Be stuffed with kindness” (Bring a stuffed animal)
Tuesday 1/23: “Kindness is not an act; it’s a lifestyle (Dress in the role of your ideal career)
Wednesday 1/24: “Fight for kindness” (Dress like a superhero)
Thursday 1/25: “Show the love” (Wear red for school photo)
Friday 1/26: “Dream of kindness” (Wear pajamas)
