The YMCA STRETCH Program is currently seeking participants for the morning program at Finney. This is a FREE before school child care program open from 6:30-7:45 AM, offering homework assistance, school readiness, and health education. STRETCH students can eat breakfast before school starts. Finney Student Council is sponsoring “SOCKTOBER” clean sock drive for families in need. Bring clean (preferably new) socks Oct. 9-31 and they will be donated to local shelters. More information available here: Socktober Flyer

The Book Fair is this week, Oct. 16-20 in the library. Proceeds from the Book Fair benefit the library. Each class has a scheduled time to go to the Book Fair. Students may also go before school, after school, and at morning recess. Please consider purchasing a book from the teacher’s wish list for the classroom library.
