It was a fabulous first week at Finney!

All Finney students eat free meals in the school cafeteria! No application necessary.

Finney PTA (Parent Teacher Association) was disbanded in 2015. In order to re-establish the Finney PTA, we need to demonstrate parent support. Please contact the 9th District PTA at office@ninthdistrictpta.org to voice your support for reconstituting the Finney PTA. We hope to have more information soon about next steps.

All Finney students attended the Back to School Assembly on Friday, July 21 where we reviewed Finney’s Rules and Values. Please reinforce these values with your child:

1. Arrive on time and ready to learn~Responsibility
2. Try your hardest, do your best and never give up~Perseverance
3. Treat people the way you want to be treated~Caring
4. Be kind in your words and actions~Respect
5. Always tell the truth~Honesty
6. Make safe choices~Safety

Please be sure your students are picked up on time. Dismissal is 2:15 on regular days and 1:00 on minimum days.
